Tessera x Quibbits

They don’t have nests, homes, or even a known habitat. Most people go their entire lives without seeing one, and the few who do usually hear them first—a soft little croak from somewhere nearby. “Quibbit… quibbit…” For reasons no one understands, Quibbits seem to choose a single human and simply stay. They can’t be bought, tracked, or captured, and attempts to study them have never explained how they appear or disappear. Some believe they’re visitors from another world. Others think they’ve always been here, hiding in plain sight. The only thing everyone agrees on is this: You never find a Quibbit. A Quibbit finds you.
