Long ago, before any of them arrived, there was only ARC. A new universe is beginning to take shape. Then, without warning, 4,000 girls appeared. Some came from places no one could identify. Some wore the clothing and symbols of unknown civilizations. Others seemed to have been created by ARC's own technology. They were completely different from one another. But there was one thing they all had in common: each of them carried a fragment of ARC within her. No one knows why they were sent. And, above all... no one knows what will happen when all 4,000 are gathered together.
