SublimeDAO x Hypetrons - GTD
There's a particular kind of computer that doesn't exist anymore — the ones that sat on trading desks in the late 1980s, beige plastic and industrial switches, phosphor screens glowing green and amber in dim rooms while numbers scrolled past too fast to read in real time. Nobody builds computers like that today. Everything now is glass and gradients, optimized to disappear into the background. Hypetrons is built in the other direction. 6,666 terminals, each one modeled after a machine that took up desk space and had to be listened to. But underneath the retro shell is something that couldn't have existed in 1988 at all — a token architecture where the object on your screen and the balance in your wallet are, mechanically, the same thing wearing two different faces.
