They are the cult's fist — the wall against which every enemy breaks. MAGES chose a different path: they burned their own flesh in runic circles to touch forbidden knowledge. Their power is unseen, but it is they who weave the spells holding the cult together — and they who first heard the Call from the Abyss. But legend speaks of a third path — one no one speaks of aloud. A rare few chose neither flesh nor mind, striking a pact directly with what lives beneath the cult.
