A core ritual of the Patterns collective is the act of creation through sacrifice. As a collector, you are presented with a choice: you can preserve your original artifacts forever, or you can sacrifice two of them to forge something entirely new. By selecting two artifacts to burn, the originals are permanently removed from the collection, and their unique underlying visual traits are mathematically fused together. The result is a completely new Ascended Artifact, featuring a much more complex composition. Because of this constant burning mechanism, the total supply of original pieces is always shrinking, shifting the balance and rarity of the entire collection over time.
